El Galaxy Watch 6 de Samsung tiene baterías más grandes que el Watch 5

La serie Galaxy Watch 5 de Samsung ofrece una excelente duración de la batería, ciertamente mucho mejor que la del Galaxy Watch 4. Parece que la compañía continuará con esta tendencia más adelante este año con el Galaxy Watch 6. La compañía coreana presentó recientemente los pequeños paquetes de energía para tener su próximo -gen smartwatches certificados por su organismo regulador nacional, Safety Korea, y podemos ver que tienen baterías más grandes que los modelos del año pasado.

Safety Korea certificó recientemente dos baterías producidas por ATL. Uno lleva el número de modelo. EB-BR935ABY mientras que el otro se identifica como EB-BR945ABY (a través de). Estas son las baterías que se ajustan a los modelos Galaxy Watch 6 de 40 mm y 44 mm (números de modelo SM-R93* y SM-R94* respectivamente). La agencia reguladora también compartió fotos de las pequeñas unidades de potencia. Si bien las fotos están borrosas, una inspección más cercana revela cierta información.

Vemos que el EB-BR935ABY tiene una capacidad nominal de 295 mAh y una capacidad típica de 300 mAh. Esa es una batería un poco más grande que la del Galaxy Watch 5 de 40 mm (276 mAh y 284 mAh respectivamente).

La historia es la misma para el EB-BR945ABY también. Tiene una capacidad nominal de 412 mAh y una capacidad típica de 425 mAh. A modo de comparación, el Galaxy Watch 5 de 44 mm tiene una batería de 410 mAh (capacidad típica), con una capacidad nominal de 397 mAh.

Como muestran los números, Samsung está aumentando la capacidad de la batería de sus relojes inteligentes de próxima generación en aproximadamente un 5%. Con mejoras en otros lugares (mejoras en el chipset, la pantalla y el software de mayor eficiencia energética), el Galaxy Watch 6 puede mejorar significativamente la duración de la batería en comparación con los relojes inteligentes Samsung actuales.

Con suerte, Samsung colocará estas baterías más grandes en estuches del mismo tamaño que el año pasado. Cualquier recinto más grande los haría un poco demasiado voluminosos. Tal vez el rumoreado cambio a un diseño de vidrio curvo haya liberado algo de espacio en el interior. Lo averiguaremos pronto.

El Galaxy Watch 6 Pro sigue desaparecido

Es posible que haya notado que hasta ahora no hemos hablado de un modelo Galaxy Watch 6 «Pro» en este artículo. Eso es porque Safety Korea no ha certificado nada al respecto. Por supuesto, eso no significa que el reloj no exista. Todavía hay mucho tiempo para el próximo evento Galaxy Unpacked de Samsung, donde lanzará los nuevos relojes inteligentes.
