Galaxy A72 y A32 reciben ampliamente la actualización de seguridad de agosto

Samsung continuará implementando el parche de seguridad de Android de agosto de 2022 en los dispositivos elegibles. En los últimos días, la compañía ha lanzado la nueva actualización de seguridad para los Galaxy A72 y Galaxy A32. El despliegue de ambos modelos comenzó hace unos días en Latinoamérica y ahora también llega a otros mercados, como Europa. Las actualizaciones deberían ser globales pronto.

La actualización de seguridad de agosto llega a Galaxy A72 y Galaxy A32 en Europa

La versión de mantenimiento de seguridad (SMR) de agosto para el Galaxy A72 se está implementando para los usuarios en Rusia con la versión de firmware A725FXXU4BVG2. El Galaxy A32 también recibirá la actualización en Rusia con la versión de firmware A325FXXU2BVH1. Ninguno de los modelos incorpora nuevas características con la última versión. El registro de cambios solo enumera las mejoras de estabilidad y confiabilidad del sistema, junto con las vulnerabilidades del último mes.

Samsung ya ha detallado el SMR de agosto. Incluye parches para más de 60 vulnerabilidades, aproximadamente la mitad de las cuales son específicas de los dispositivos Galaxy. Afectan a varias partes de los smartphones y tablets Android de la empresa coreana. La compañía calificó algunos de ellos como fallas críticas, comprometiendo la seguridad de componentes como App Lock, Knox VPN, Samsung DeX, NFC, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth y otros.

La otra mitad de las vulnerabilidades corregidas con el SMR de agosto provienen de Google y afectan a todo el ecosistema de Android, incluidos los productos de Samsung. El fabricante de Android etiquetó solo uno como un defecto crítico. Permitió la ejecución remota de código a través de Bluetooth. De modo que cualquiera puede ejecutar código de forma remota en el dispositivo de una víctima y lanzar un ataque devastador.

Todas estas soluciones de seguridad ahora se están implementando en los teléfonos inteligentes Galaxy A72 y Galaxy A32 de Samsung. Si está utilizando uno de estos teléfonos, recibirá la actualización por aire (OTA) en breve si aún no lo ha hecho. Se le notificará para descargar el paquete OTA tan pronto como esté disponible. También puede buscar actualizaciones manualmente a través de la aplicación Configuración.

Ambos gamas medias de Samsung obtienen Android 13

Samsung lanzó el Galaxy A72 y el Galaxy A32 en el primer trimestre de 2021. Vinieron con Android 11 listo para usar y recibieron la actualización de Android 12 a principios de este año. Los teléfonos también obtendrán Android 13, que traerá la máscara personalizada One UI 5.0 de Samsung. La principal actualización de Android para los dos puede llegar a principios de 2023.
