Galaxy Z Fold 4 recibe actualización de seguridad de diciembre en EE. UU.

Samsung está lanzando una nueva actualización de software para el Galaxy Z Fold 4 en los EE. UU. La última versión llega solo unas semanas después de la actualización de Android 13 y trae el parche de seguridad de este mes. La actualización viene con la versión de firmware F936U1UEU1BVKB y tiene un tamaño de descarga OTA (por aire) de más de 400 MB. Ya sabemos lo que hay en el SMR de diciembre. Samsung enumera hasta 80 correcciones de vulnerabilidades en su última publicación mensual de seguridad. Estos incluyen cinco correcciones críticas que forman parte del ASB (Boletín de seguridad de Android) de Google. Estas son soluciones a problemas encontrados en el sistema operativo Android y otros componentes de socios. Los respectivos proveedores de esos componentes corrigen las vulnerabilidades. Las vulnerabilidades más graves mencionadas en el ASB de este mes podrían permitir la ejecución remota de código sin privilegios de ejecución adicionales. Algunos también permitieron la ejecución remota de código a través de Bluetooth.

El SMR de diciembre para dispositivos Galaxy también incluye 60 correcciones de vulnerabilidades muy graves de Google. Algunos de ellos permitieron la divulgación local de información. Además de los parches ASB, Samsung también corrigió 13 vulnerabilidades específicas de Galaxy.
