Samsung está agregando un nuevo modo de reparación a los teléfonos Galaxy para calmar a los clientes ansiosos porque los técnicos no confían en sus dispositivos.

Siempre es angustioso cuando tienes que llevar tu teléfono a un centro de reparación, sin saber si tu información personal está segura o no. Tampoco desea que los reparadores husmeen en su dispositivo en busca de fotos privadas, mensajes o información financiera.

El modo de reparación de Samsung evita todo eso. El modo aparece en la configuración en el menú «Cuidado de la batería y el dispositivo». Una vez seleccionado, el teléfono se reiniciará y se restringirá el acceso a los datos personales. Solo se puede acceder a las aplicaciones preinstaladas predeterminadas mientras el teléfono está en modo de reparación.

Una vez que se repara el dispositivo, los usuarios pueden salir del modo de reparación y recuperar el acceso a los datos personales. Solo necesitan reiniciar y desbloquear sus teléfonos a través del reconocimiento de patrones/huellas digitales.

Desafortunadamente, la función solo llegará a los dispositivos Galaxy en Corea del Sur por ahora, pero no vemos por qué Samsung no la lanzará también en otros mercados.

Actualizaremos este artículo cuando Samsung anuncie una mayor disponibilidad del modo de reparación, ya que muchos de nosotros podremos respirar más tranquilos si nuestras galaxias alguna vez necesitan ser reparadas.
