Samsung está lanzando una segunda actualización de software basada en Android 13 para la serie Galaxy S21 en los EE. UU. Si bien el primer lanzamiento presentó la nueva versión de Android y el software personalizado One UI 5.0 de la marca coreana, el último lanzamiento solo trata de corregir vulnerabilidades. La compañía lanzará el parche de seguridad de noviembre para Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+ y Galaxy S21 Ultra.

La actualización One UI 5.0 basada en Android 13 para el trío Galaxy S21 se envió con el parche de seguridad de octubre en la mayoría de los países. La compañía presentó la versión de mantenimiento de seguridad (SMR) de noviembre con una actualización separada aproximadamente una semana después de la versión principal. Ahora que las unidades Galaxy S21 desbloqueadas y bloqueadas por el operador en los EE. UU. se han actualizado a la nueva versión de Android, el gigante coreano también ha lanzado el SMR de noviembre en los Estados Unidos.
