La terminología de copia de seguridad de Google Photos ahora es más fácil de entender gracias a un pequeño cambio de Google. La compañía esencialmente ha cambiado parte del texto en el menú para simplificar las cosas en general.

La empresa decidió actualizar dos términos en el menú, y ambos se relacionan con las copias de seguridad. Tenga en cuenta que el cambio se ha realizado tanto en la aplicación Google Photos como en el cliente web.

Notará que la opción ‘Copia de seguridad y sincronización’ ahora se llama simplemente ‘Copia de seguridad’. Este es el interruptor principal que le permite habilitar o deshabilitar la copia de seguridad automática de sus fotos o videos.

El segundo término que se ha cambiado en la configuración es ‘Tamaño de carga’. Ahora se llama «Calidad de la copia de seguridad», lo que tiene mucho más sentido. Las dos opciones en él permanecen sin cambios, siguen siendo ‘Calidad original’ y ‘Ahorro de almacenamiento’.
