Hasta ahora, se han contado poco más de 2800 votos en esta encuesta, lo que nos da un tamaño de muestra decente. Y resulta que el 25,79% de los lectores encuestados dicen que no usan aplicaciones de Android de 32 bits únicamente en su teléfono. Por otro lado, el 20,75% de los encuestados dijo que todavía usa solo aplicaciones de 32 bits en su dispositivo Android.

Sin embargo, el gran triunfador fue el ‘No sé’, con el 53,45% de los votos. Ciertamente podemos entender por qué la gente optaría por esta opción, ya que los teléfonos inteligentes realmente no facilitan determinar si una aplicación instalada es de 32 bits o de 64 bits.

Al decir esto, Google ha ordenado durante mucho tiempo que todas las aplicaciones enviadas a Play Store deben tener versiones de 64 bits. De hecho, el escaparate también dejó de ofrecer aplicaciones sin versiones de 64 bits para dispositivos de 64 bits desde el año pasado. Entonces, lo más probable es que, si te apegas a Play Store, solo usarás aplicaciones de 64 bits en tu teléfono.   • Blake Sinnett: Realmente apesta. Uso un sintetizador de voz con TalkBack llamado Eloquence, que es bastante popular entre la comunidad de ciegos. Esta aplicación es de 32 bits y los desarrolladores la descontinuaron en 2019. Ahora me veo obligado a usar algo que es menos inteligible a altas velocidades, lo que reduce un poco mi productividad móvil.
  • roaduardo: Estoy bastante seguro de que Zooper Widget es de 32 bits y todavía lo uso porque soy demasiado estúpido para entender KLWP y KWGT.
  • Joe Black: Para ser sincero, no tengo ni idea 😀 en mi teléfono personal probablemente esté bien, pero mi teléfono del trabajo tiene instalada otra aplicación más antigua o «dedicada».
