De acuerdo a club galáctico, el S5 Neo recibe una actualización. Esto es notable porque este teléfono no solo dejó de recibir actualizaciones, sino que es un teléfono que se lanzó en 2015. Contiene la versión de Android 6.0.1 y una corrección para el GPS del teléfono.
